National Stationery Show Trends 2015

The National Stationery Show is held annually each May in NYC. The NSS is the premier trade show that showcases the paper industry’s newest innovations in paper trends from stationery and greeting cards to almost anything that can be created with paper. The NSS attracts a diverse global attendance of 10,000 buyers and undoubtably sets the trends in other industries including the craft industry.

To celebrate the 2015 Stationery Show, IMAGINE Crafts would like to inspire you with cards created by our Artists In Residence that reflect what’s hot at the show.

Anything and everything metallic is trending right now and it just looks soooo good on a card! This would make a wonderful snail mail greeting for any occasion, just change the sentiment. Let Penny show you how to create this spectacular card.

Maureen created this simple, yet stunning floral print card with metallic color that is sure to shine. See how Maureen created this card.

Leave it to our other fantastic Artist In Residence, Savannah O’Gwynn, to discover how to create a CAS (Clean And Simple) card with a big impact! Savannah shows how to use Metallic Creative Medium to create cards that are sure to get noticed!

  1. I absolutely love the metallic trend and I thought it was cool before it was a trend!! I have always loved using metallic and shimmery mediums in my creations! I am head over heels in love with the Creative Mediums and tell anyone and everyone how amazing they are!! I think I should get a commission from all the people who have bought it after I have told them about it and showed them samples made using them. LOVE me some Imagine Crafts products! They are the best around!
