You Spin Me Right Round, Baby!

Last week on DIY Candy, Amy Anderson featured an incredibly fun and chic spin art project. Armed with only inks, paper plates and a salad spinner; the results are incredibly vibrant and eye-catching. What if you were to do this with other surface types? Sheet Metal & StazOn?  This got me thinking and inspired me to try it out myself using a variety of surfaces and inks. StazOn + Sheet Metal
This  created a great “galaxy” look and blended beautifully.

Memento Luxe, Memento Dye + Cotton Shirt
The results from this were tons of fun, but it’s important to note that while Memento Luxe is washer safe, Memento DYE is not.

Vertigo + irRESISTible Pico Embellisher
I will tell you right now, the sound of Vertigo in a salad spinner is very similar to a roller coaster – mildly terrifying but also exhilarating.
