Envelope with GooseBumps and Embellishments
by Mark Melnick
With Mother’s Day and Graduation coming soon, here’s a creation both beautifully unique and practical for any occasion. Using Goosebumps Matte Texture Spray, and an interesting embellishment closure, this envelope is perfect for gift cards, money or a handmade card.
Time Required: 45 minutes + drying time
Cut a piece of butcher’s paper cut to 4 ½” x 6
Take a stencil and cover the paper completely. Spray with GooseBumps Matte Texture Spray over stencil. Remove stencil immediately and with care.
Create fold lines at middle and at top for flap.
Take needle and thread and make numerous loops for closure. Use wire rod and coin width for sizing of loops.
With a sewing machine, sew sides and bottom of envelope with a decorative stitch and metallic thread.
Adhere Dynasty Coin to flap and cut hole for loop. Place a wire rod through loop creating the finished closure for envelope.
