Creative Medium Album Cover
Preserving our memories is one of the most important things to do. Our past built the person we are right now. It shows where we came from, how we think and how we feel. These memories need a proper packaging to highlight its inimitableness.
My cousin turned 30 last month. There is no better present than a handmade memory-album kit, is there? 🙂 I chose a Heidi Swapp heavy cardboard memoryfile cover for the base of the album. Inside I used double-sided patterned paper from Maggie Holmes “Open Book” collection. I used my Cinch book-binding machine to complete the album.
Time: 30 minutes + Dry time
I applied the first Creative Medium metallic cream directly onto the plain chipboard album cover using a 6×6 stencil from Heidi Swapp.
After half an hour of drying time, the Creative Medium was dry enough to place the stencil again and apply the next color. After the next half an hour, I applied the last color.
I let the complete cover dry over night before adding various embellishments and a large wooden title.
Bind and add ribbon.
