Spring cleaning means getting rid of the old and making room for the new. So, how about some new linen towels? Bright, festive colors will help freshen the look of your kitchen or bathrooms! Linen is washable and has natural antibacterial properties that cotton does not.

Skill: Beginner

Time: 30 minutes + drying time

Directions

Step 1

Pre-wash linen towels for softness.

TIP: Linen should be washed on a gentle/delicate wash and air-dried, though it can be placed in a dryer on a low setting. Do not use fabric softener before applying the ink.

Step 2

Take a wood block stamp and ink it with VersaCraft Ink. These inks are made especially for using on fabric. A wood block stamp is great for fabric because of its deep cuts which create amazing detail.

TIP: If you are also a sewer- make your own linen towels to get just the right size.

Step 3

Heat set ink with a dry iron for 1 – 2 minutes on each side and allow to cool. Let set for 48 hours before laundering again.
