Clean and Simple, Happy and Happy!

Vellum is the perfect medium to be colored with Memento inks to create a custom colored and stamped design. Two coordinating colors of Memento inks provide a clean and simple design that can be modified to fit any occasion. Use a matching die set to make a “chipboard” accent in the perfect hue to complete the card.
Time: 30 Minutes
Brayer lighter colored Cantaloupe Memento ink onto one side of the vellum. If a darker shade is desired, continue adding color with the brayer. Brayer the ink on the vellum to smooth out edge marks. This example is A2 size card, the vellum is trimmed to 4 ¼” x 6”.
To create a symmetrical repeating pattern, the vellum is placed over graph paper and stamped on the opposite side to prevent bleeding. Cantaloupe is used for the sentiment and Tangelo for the present.
Die cut 5 of the sentiment and brayer with Cantaloupe Memento ink. Inking the individual die cuts will also add some color the edges. Stack and adhere sentiment to create a “chipboard” sentiment.
Die cut outline of sentiment and brayer with Tangelo Memento ink. Adhere stacked sentiment to outline.
Brayer a 1 3/8” x 4 ¼” section of white cardstock with Cantaloupe. Adhere sentiment and stamp additional parts of the sentiment in Tangelo.
Trim white cardstock to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half. Layer vellum over the cardstock and fold the top edge so the vellum completely overlays the card front. Punch two holes 1” apart at the top of the card. Thread a length of ribbon from the front through the holes twice ending with the cut ribbon on the opposite side.
Adhere cardstock panel to vellum to finish the card.
