In my ever busy life, sometimes I want to just reflect on creating something that is simple yet elegant. This colorful tag uses a resist technique along with embossing—two of my favorite things to do.

Skill: Beginner

Time: 30 minutes

Directions

Step 1

Create a tag shape from white cardstock. Stamp a design using an embossing stamp pad. Apply clear embossing powder to stamped design and heat to set.

Step 2

Spray a thin layer of Fireworks! onto the tag. Build up depth by using multiple colors (I used three).

Step 3

Use an InkBlusher to wipe the excess ink from the embossed elements.

Step 4

Leave the tag to air dry, then stamp and emboss a sentiment using VersaMark and black embossing powder, heat to set.

Step 5

Fussy cut around the sentiment and adhere to the front of the tag.
