Make Stars Pop Out to Create a Happy Flag Day

Let Freedom Ring

by Terre Fry

These three words mean a lot to me as my husband served 10 years in the United States Air Force. I was proud to be a military wife and when asked if I would do it again, the answer is YES, I would! So here’s to all the military men and women who serve this great country and to the spouses and children left home- “Let Freedom Ring” and thank you for your service and sacrifice!

Skill: Beginner
Time: 15 minutes

Step 1

Brush the front of your card with Memento Love Letter and Nautical Blue, this will create a firework looking background.

Step 2

Die cut stars out of white cardstock and ink two of them with Love Letter and Nautical Blue.

Step 3

Use the Emboss Stamp Pad Clear to cover the front of each star and apply Clear Embossing Powder. Heat set the embossing powder.

Step 4

Stamp or print your sentiment onto a scrap piece of cardstock. I cut a notch for a ribbon look. Add foam squares to the back of the stars and sentiment and place on card front.

This card could lend itself to ‘mass’ production so easily! A fun project to make with kids as well.

  • Cardstock – white
