When I created my planner, I decided to include white pages and create my own art page. Today, I am sharing with you how I made one of these pages using Fireworks! Craft Spray, Walnut Ink Spray, and VersaFine. I will also share how to make die cut embellishments using Vertigo, Brilliance and StazOn inks for extra planner inspiration.

Skill: Beginner
Time: 1 hour

Directions

Step 1

Spray Walnut and Fireworks! inks on the blank page  about 10 inches away.  The Walnut Ink takes a few moments to dry and the Fireworks dries immediately. Spray until desired color is achieved. TIP: Working with spray ink is a real pleasure because the results are unpredictable. Theoretically, spraying near to the paper will obtain a darker or concentrated color, and spraying very far will have the opposite effect.

Step 2

Prepare the stamps of your choice to decorate the newly inked page. Stamp large image (guitar in the photo) with VersaFine – Onyx Black and additional images (music notes) with VersaFine – Vintage Sepia. Be sure to leave free space on this page for journaling.

Now that we have a free-flowing journal page in our more structured planner, let’s talk embellishments. Planners become more unique and personal when you add more elements. Take a look of the die cuts created using Vertigo colored with two different types of ink–Brilliance and StazOn.
