It may be the thought that counts, but a pretty presentation certainly doesn’t hurt. This candy gift bag is inspired by the color of the month wintergreen mint as well as the flavor it brings to mind. Add a touch of chocolate and how could you go wrong?

Directions

Step 1

Combine White, Ultramarine, and Spring Green All-Purpose inks onto a palette until the desired shade is reached.

Step 2

Write “mint” on white cardstock with a VersaMarker and emboss with white embossing powder.

Step 3

Dilute mixed ink with Ink Potion No. 9 and brush the ink across the embossed writing. The embossed areas will act as a resist.

Step 4

Add sentiment and outline embossed text with Bamboo Leaves Memento Marker.

Step 5

Trim and mat the decorated panel with chocolate cardstock.

Step 6

Attach matted panel to the fold-over card on the candy bag. Secure the filled treat bag inside the card with several strips of Tear It! Tape.
