See How to Make a Loved By God Mixed Media Canvas

by Mischelle Smith

Mischelle Smith creates this wonderful mixed media project with two lovely ladies.

Mixed media projects have the potential to go into any direction. One can build up layers with texture and create a design that looks 3-D, mix different mediums to create a luster or build layers that draw the eye inward to a 2-D surface. In today’s tutorial, Mischelle Smith goes through a process of coloring, blending, and layering to achieve a dense and soft texture layer over text and images. This dreamy canvas would work great with any sentiment theme and for many occasions.

Step 9

Finish any detailing with top layers of texture with White Wedding Dress IrRESISTibles which will block anything underneath and act as top paint splatter look. This tutorial helps show how to build a dense beautiful shimmery effect that will cause the eye to wander around the canvas.
