Wearing a bracelet with an inspiring quote can make a big difference in your daily productivity. Words like brave, blessed, courage, or strong are little reminders to encourage you to power through a tough day. Today, I am sharing a super fun project to help spark creativity and Monday Motivation! This is a great project to have at a craft party, teenage girl sleepover or any fun group activity where several pieces of a unique project can be handmade. Once you understand how to make a few of these adorable bracelets, then you can truly allow your creativity to flow and go crazy!

Skill: Advanced
Time: 13 hours of prep time + 30 minutes per bracelet craft time

Step 1

Boil Jumbo Craft Sticks in water for 15 minutes.

Step 2

While still hot, shape craft sticks in circles and place on the inside of a cup. Let set 12 hours. Some will crack and splinter. Make more than you need.

Step 3

Punch a hole on each end of the craft stick. Again, some may splinter and break.

Step 4

Go Crazy!! Color craft sticks with any number of products. Some suggestions are Tsukineko Fabrico Markers, Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Spray, Creative Medium and DCWV paper. Fabrico Markers are Tsukineko’s line of fabric markers. The thicker pigment formula of ink is also great on wood. Fireworks is a great product to add color and shimmer to porous surfaces. Creative Medium is an acrylic paste that will allow you to stencil, adhere printed sentiments, and layer embellishments onto the bracelets. And DCWV paper has an endless source of inspiring imagery in their paper sets!

The following photos show the variety of options with this project and a variety of craft supplies:

Once you have completed your crafting awesomeness then attach twine to the ends to finish, wear them to your next social event and let the compliments pour in!
