Who said that you can’t create your own magic? I created my own magic by using a combination of Encore Ultimate Metallic Gold, Memento Luxe and Memento Dye inks in a fairy themed handmade card. It was very easy and fun and you can do the same just using your imagination. Take a look at how I created this glowing teal colored background.

Directions

Step 1

Take a piece of whisper white card stock and three different colors of Memento Ink. I used Desert Sand, Peanut Brittle, and Teal Zeal colors. Sponge the Desert Sand Memento ink as a base layer around the borders of the paper using a jumbo sponge dauber to create a frame. Use Memento Peanut Brittle to enhance the color saturation. Sponge the center of the layer with Teal Zeal Memento Ink. Spray the layer with water to create a texture effect and let the paper dry.

Step 2

Stamp the image of the fairy using Memento Luxe Teal Zeal and heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.

Step 3

Stamp the spiral of stars and “Create Your Own Magic” sentiment with Encore Metallic Gold and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Cut the layer with a rectangle stitched die cut. Paste the decorated layer over the card base a matching teal card base.
