Use StazOn in a Unique Way for a Valentine's Card

Share some love with a card in bright colors using StazOn ink pads. Use the StazOn all purpose stamp cleaner to dissolve the StazOn inks creating a watercolor effect on paper. The result gives the impression that a water based ink is used, however this technique can make a background that stays while you can work with water based colors on it.
The effect is used on watercolor paper and on tracing paper giving a semi-opaque result.

Skill: Beginner
Time: 1 hour

Directions

Step 1

Use a sponge dauber to lay StazOn Teal Blue on the craft mat. Spray with the StazOn All-Purpose Stamp Cleaner

Step 2

Take a 4 x 6 inch watercolor paper cutting and press it on the dissolved ink. Use a heat gun to dry it.

Step 3

Repeat step 1 using the StazOn Blazing Red inkpad now. Press a piece of watercolor paper on the dissolved ink.

Step 4

As soon as the watercolor paper is dried, draw small hearts on the backside and cut them.

Step 5

Repeat step 1 using the StazOn Blazing Red and press a piece of tracing paper. Dry it with the help of a heat gun. Cut small hearts from it.

Step 6

Sprinkle Tuxedo Black color from the irRESISTible texture spray on the 4 x 6 inch watercolor paper.

Step 7

Cut half on the long of a 4 ½ inch chevron ribbon piece. Sew a charm on a half of it.

Step 8

Use the Tear It Tape to set the 4 x 6 inch watercolor paper on a 5 x 7 inch card, then the ribbons.

Step 9

With the help of the On Point Glue, add the hearts on the card.
