When you have the new ink pads of VersaFine Clair in your hands you want to use all the colors at the same time. These colors are brilliant and give you the opportunity to stamp your images and layer them until you create your perfect design. For today’s project, I created an “I Love You” Valentine’s Day card with a lovely fern and peacock feathers theme.
Skill: Beginner
Time: 30 minutes
Directions
Step 1
Stamp the solid images over whisper white cardstock. I used Versafine Clair Charming Pink. Let the ink dry for quite a few minutes, or speed up the process using the heat tool.
Step 2
Once the base leaf layer is completely dry, stamp the detailed image over the first stamped image using VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Cover the image with clear embossing powder and melt the powder with the heat tool.
Step 3
Stamp some feather images over the leaf images using another color of VersaFine Clair Ink. I used the Cheerful (Yellow) and covered it with Clear Embossing Powder to obtain a great texture over the first stamped image.

Step 4
Ink another image using a Memento Marker with a clear color of the same family that you are using on your project and stamp on the white spaces.

Step 5
Repeat step 3 using VersaFine Clair Purple Delight. Finalize your card with a sentiment. I stamped a sentiment over a coordinating banner using White Embossing Powder. I created two arrows using a die cut, then inked and embossed with VersaFine Clair Charming Pink and VersaFine Clair Purple Delight.
