April Color of the Month is White Wedding

April Color of the Month is White Wedding

“Hey, little sister what have you done? Hey, little sister who is the only one?”…*continues Billy Idol song until the chorus* “It’s a nice day for a White Wedding”! We are happy to announce the Color of the Month for April is White Wedding. With wedding season just around the bend, we hope you are stocking up on the right inks for your special day.

We have been very pleased with our latest release of StazOn Pigment Ink in Snowflake. This ink will be great for multiple surfaces and especially great on dark or kraft cardstock. Another set of fantastic inks for wedding crafts is Delicata in White Shimmer (the name speaks for itself), Brilliance in Moonlight White (a bit of a heavier pigment ink), and VersaMagic in Cloud White (matte finish ink).

As always we challenge our artist with the color of the month and a technique or theme. This month expect to see white inks and wedding crafts!

Use StazOn Pigment to Create a Beautiful Mixed Media Canvas

Use StazOn Pigment to Create a Beautiful Mixed Media Canvas

I used the new StazOn Pigment ink in many of the gorgeous, vibrant new colors on a black chalkboard background and the colors look fantastic! You can even see the purple on black…WHAT?! You have to see for yourself. This project couldn’t have been created successfully without the new StazOn Pigment ink. It is opaque, so it shows up great on dark surfaces AND it has all of the wonderful properties that the original StazOn has—it can be applied to many different surfaces and dries quickly. I think I’ve found a new obsession.

The new StazOn Pigment ink is here!! Yay! I am so excited to share this wonderful new ink with you! I can hardly contain myself. I made a simple, springtime, gnome card to show you some of the versatility of this new ink. I stamped Peacock Feathers on kraft cardstock and Lemon Drop on a metal tag and both look great! This ink will work on porous and non-porous surfaces, dries quickly, and is OPAQUE, and sooo crisp! I really don’t know what else you need… Ok, I’m done gushing…for now. 🙂

Learn to Make a Set of Matching Thank You Cards

Learn to Make a Set of Matching Thank You Cards

Coral is Imagine’s Color of the month for February 2019. I couldn’t resist using this gorgeous Radiant Neon ink in Neon Coral!! It is really stunning. I wanted a bold contrasting color to pair with it so I chose the VersaFine Clair in Fantasia. They are a match made in heaven! I absolutely love the way the colors play off of each other. They are both strong, bold colors on their own and yet they work fabulously together!

I made both of these Thank You cards at the same time and they were completed quickly. Sometimes it’s nice to have a simple, yet beautiful thank you card ready to give at a moments notice.

See How to Upcycle Packaging into a Mixed Media Statement Piece

by Kassy Tousignant

The inspiration for this piece was the quote I included on the canvas. I am forever on the lookout for inspiring and uplifting quotes. Things that make you think, or give you the push you need to move forward. I really also love working with upcycled materials. We don’t need more trash in the landfills, right?! I knew that my Imagine mixed media products would work wonders to make this piece come alive! When i’m working with resin pieces, I always reach for my Fireworks sprays and All-Purpose Ink. They both cover beautifully. This quote on the canvas is very near to my heart and all of the elements came together perfectly to give it a home.
