Welcome to a week of fantastic collaboration between IMAGINE Crafts and Stampendous! We have to admit that our two companies were made for each other and we’re proud to have shared a long relationship of working together.  After all, what are stamps with out ink?  The projects created by our artists this week feature IMAGINE Crafts Radiant Neon™ inks paired perfectly with coordinating colors of Fran•táge Color Fragments from Stampendous, along with some of their newest stamp designs and Stack Art kits.

Directions:

Uncommon Background beginnings

1. Begin by stenciling the background using favorite ink colors. Colors used here include StazOn Claret, Radiant Neon Electric Blue and Memento Luxe Nautical Blue. Later, Radiant Neon Electric Orange is added for additional depth.

2. Ink die cut letters using favorite colors. Tangelo Memento was used, then double inked with Teal Blue StazOn using a Sponge Dauber.

3. Seal letters with Goosebumps Shimmer.

4. Add additional color with StazOn Midi Claret.

Uncommon Spritz upside down with IrRESISTibles and Shimmer Spritz

5. Spritz background with irRESISTible Texture Spray in Lady Bug and Bahama Blue. Repeat spritzing with background turned upside down to get the best coverage.

6. Accent background with assorted stamps. The stars were stamped with StazOn Claret, the dots with StazOnTeal Blue, and the tickets with StazOn Ganache.

7. Adhere letters to background and accent with white paint.

 

Kaleidacolor GO GO GO Card

Supplies:

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: Kaleidacolor Tahiti, Jumbo Dauber
  • Jamie Koay: Chevron Lace Background Digital Cutting File
  • Echo Park: “About a Boy” by Lori Whitlock Element Stickers
  • Thermoweb: 3d Foam Squares, Memory Tape Runner XL
  • Miscellaneous: cardstock

Instructions:

1.  Die cut chevron overlay from Chevron Lace Background digital cutting file.

2.  Use overlay as a stencil on white cardstock. Tip – tape in place with repositionable tape.

3. Ink Jumbo Dauber with Kaleidacolor Tahiti and sponge onto overlay randomly.

4. Blend inks as desired.

5. Remove overlay and attach to a card base.

6. Rotate overlay 180 degrees to create a fun pattern.

7. Attach airplane to the background with dimensional tape.

8. Adhere GO GO GO sticker  directly to card.

Strawberry Plant

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  Goosebumps Texture Shimmer (dauber top), irRESISTible Pico Embellisher Rhubarb Stalk, StazOn: Claret, Olive Green
  • Jamie Lane Designs: Strawberry Plant digital cutting file
  • Crafter’s Companion: Petite Dots Embossalicious Embossing Folder
  • Art Glitter:  Dries Clear Designer Glue
  • Adtech: hot glue
  • Miscellaneous: cardstock, embroidery thread, Silhouette Cameo machine

Directions:

1. Die cut pieces for plant out of coordinating colored cardstock.

2. Emboss berry pieces with Petite Dots Embossing folder.

3. Coat berry pieces with Goosebumps Shimmer Texture; allow to dry completely.

4. Color berry pieces with StazOn Claret.

5. Using the irRESISTible Pico Embellisher Shimmer, add dimensional dots to the embossed pattern.

6. Coat leaves and stems with Goosebumps Shimmer Texture. Let dry.

7. Color leaves and stems with StazOn Olive.

8. Gather berries and tie shut with green embroidery thread.

9. Attach flowers, berries, and large leaves to stems.

 

 

Mono-Printing and Circus Card

Craft Mat Technique

Supplies:

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: Radiant Neon Electric Yellow, Memento Luxe Pistachio, Embossing Powder Clear, Fireworks! Craft Spray Lady Bug, Craft Mat
  • Want2Scrap: Baby Bling Brown
  • May Arts: ribbon
  • Miscellaneous: stamp, die cut letters, linen cardstock (for card base), Neenah Solar White cardstock, patterned paper, adhesive

Directions:

1. Create an A2 card base from Linen Cardstock and cut a mat 4×5.5″.

2. Splatter some Neenah Solar White cardstock with Fireworks! Craft Spray.

Tip: Use a larger piece than you’ll need, to allow for trimming and straightening.

3. Apply Electric Yellow and Pistachio inks directly to the Imagine Crafts Craft Mat.

4. Stamp an image into the ink.

5. Lay the cardstock down onto the craft mat. Gently press to absorb all the ink.

6. Coat the inked area with Clear Embossing Powder and heat to melt.

7. Trim your background piece and/or tear the edges and apply to card.  Tip: Since most of the patterned mat won’t be seen, use it to die cut letters to match.

8. Embellish with ribbon, bling, and a sentiment.

  • Miscellaneous: red striped ribbon, silver pen, white cardstock, popcorn bag

Directions:

1.  Cut 8.5″ x 8.5″ white cardstock, fold in half.

2.  Stamp ‘Big Top’ Stamp on lower half of the card with Memento Luxe Love Letter and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

3.  Stamp ‘Life is a Circus’ at top of card with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

4.  Stamp ‘Words’ background stamp with Memento Luxe Grey Flannel at an angle to cover card.

5.Add striped ribbon piece to top of card.

6. Stamp Angel on white cardstock with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black, clear emboss and cut out.

7. Outline detail with silver pen.

8. Stamp Angel again on white cardstock with Memento Luxe Grey Flannel, spritz with Fireworks Lady Bug and cut out wings.

9. Adhere red wings to back of angel and adhere angel to card inside the big top.

9. Stamp Birthday Wishes on scrap cardstock spritzed with Fireworks Lady Bug and adhere to card.
