Pine Cone Christmas Tag

Supplies:

  • IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko: Walnut Stain: Cornflower, Lilac, Eucalyptus and Walnut; irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher – Wedding Dress
  • May Arts Ribbon: Red/Green Gingham and Gold Cording
  • Miscellaneous: Wooden Christmas Tag, Paintbrush, Glass Plate

Instructions:

1. Spritz Walnut Ink onto a glass plate, and paint the pinecone and branches on the wooden tag. Allow to dry.

2. Spritz Walnut Ink: Eucalyptus onto a glass plate, and paint the pine needles on the wooden tag. Allow to dry.

3. Spritz Walnut Ink: Cornflower onto a glass plate, and paint the pine needles (over the Eucalytpus color) on the wooden tag. Allow to dry.

4. Spritz Walnut Ink: Cornflower and Lilac onto a glass plate, and paint the remainder of the wooden tag. Allow to dry.

5. Add touches of “snow” with the Wedding Dress irRESISTible Pico Embellisher and allow to dry.

6. Add gold cording and a ribbon to the tag.

UPCYCLE Halloween Gift

  • IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko: StazOn: Orange Zest, Jet Black; GlazOn, Memento: Tuxedo Black, Grape Jelly; Sponge Daubers
  • JustRite Papercrafts: Boo-tiful Cameo Clear Stamps
  • Bazzill Basics Paper: white Cardstock
  • Spellbinders: Labels Twenty-Eight, Grand Calibur machine
  • May Arts Purple, Black and Orange Burlap String
  • Miscellaneous: tin can, halloween ribbon, green shredded tissue, paintbrush, hole punch

Instructions:

1. Peel the label off of a used tin can and remove any glue residue. Wash and allow to dry thoroughly

2. Sponge StazOn Orange Zest onto surface of tin can with a Sponge Dauber.

3. Seal the inked can with GlazOn using a paintbrush. Allow to dry thoroughly.

4. Add dots on the tin can using a Sponge Dauber with StazOn Jet Black. Allow dots to dry, then apply more ink on top of the dots.

5. Seal the inked can with GlazOn using a paintbrush. Allow to dry thoroughly.

6. Cut/emboss Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Eight with white cardstock.

7. With die cut remaining in template, stencil with Memento Grape Jelly ink using a Sponge Dauber.

8. Remove die cut from template and stamp sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

9. Punch a hole into the sentiment tag and tie to tin can with Halloween Ribbon and May Arts burlap string.

10. Fill with shredded tissue and gift of choice.

 

UPCYCLE “Enjoy the Journey” Card

  • IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko: Walnut Ink Crystals, Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle, Versafine Black Onyx, Jumbo Dauber
  • Tri-Boss Embossing Folder “Pocket Watches”
  • Stampers Anonymous “Enjoy the Journey”
  • May Arts: twine
  • Miscellaneous: ephemera, adhesive

Directions:

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

1. Antique white cardstock with Walnut Ink Crystals. Allow to dry.

2. Emboss with pocket watch embossing folder.

3. Highlight the embossed areas using Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle with a Jumbo Dauber.

4. Cut out embossed portion of the cardstock and edge with Espresso Truffle.

5. Edge all ephemera pieces with Espresso Truffle.

6. Assemble collage as desired with adhesive.

7. Wrap twine around card in a diamond pattern as seen above, attaching to the back of the card to give a “notice board” effect.

8. Stamp sentiment onto an excess piece of antiqued cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black.

9. Mount collage onto black cardstock card base.

Directions:

1. Make 5½˝ x 4¼˝ card base from white cardstock and round lower right corner.

2. Randomly stamp icons with Delicata Golden Glitz onto card front.

3. Cut out sentiment using a digital die cutting machine from white cardstock and spray with Fireworks! in Lulu Lavender and Angel Pink.

4. Let dry and adhere to cardfront.

5. Embellish card with blue glitter pearls.

irRESISTible Invite

Supplies:

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: irRESISTible: Grape Jelly, Danube Blue; Goosebumps Texture Spray, Memento: Tuxedo Black, Grape Jelly; Sponge Daubers
  • JustRite Papercrafts: Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps
  • Bazzill Basics Paper: white, blue and purple Cardstock
  • Spellbinders: Die D-Lites Fancy Labels Tag Four, Petite Labels One, Grand Calibur machine
  • Miscellaneous: tissue paper or paper towel, 3D foam squares, blue floss, blue rhinestones

Instructions:

1. Spray white cardstock sized 4¼˝ x 5½˝ with GooseBumps, saturating the paper completely.

2. Spritz irRESISTible Grape Jelly and Danube Blue on top of GoosBumps while still wet.

3. With tissue, dab at the irRESISTible surface until you achieve the look you desire.  Allow to dry.

4. Cut/emboss Petite Labels One tag with white cardstock, and with die cut remaining in template, stencil with Grape Jelly using a Sponge Dauber.

5. Remove tag from die and stamp sentiment with Tuxedo Black.

6. Adhere sentiment to card with foam squares, then add blue floss and finish your card.

Halloween Birdhouse

Supplies:

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: irRESISTible Tangelo, irRESISTible Pico Embellisher Tuxedo Black
  • Spellbinders: Die D-Lites Edwardian Door, Grand Calibur
  • Bazzill Basics Paper: Black Cardstock
  • Miscellaneous:Hot Glue Gun, Decorative Skulls, Black Birds, Black Glitter Branches, Birdhouse, Foam Brush

Instructions:

1. Spray irRESISTible Tangelo onto the birdhouse and dab with a foam brush.

2. Repeat with the irRESISTible Tangelo onto the birdhouse with the foam brush until you get a nice texture. I did three coats.

3. Squeeze the tip of a irRESISTible Pico Embellisher: Tuxedo Black onto the roof point of the birdhouse and allow it to drip down the sides of the roof. Do as much or as little as you’d like.

4. Use the tip of the irRESISTible Pico Embellisher: Tuxedo Black on the entire birdhouse. You can stop the flow of the lines with a heat gun if you so desire.

5. Allow to dry, then decorate.

Joy to the World

  • Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: Encore Inks: Champagne, Bronze, Blue, Purple and Green; StazOn Cotton White Opaque; Sponge Dauber, Fantastix
  • Spellbinders: A2 Matting Basics B, Curved Borders One, 2013 Holiday Trees, Frosty Forms
  • JustRite Papercraft: Elegant Christmas Swirls Clear Stamps
  • Bazzill Basics Paper: White and Purple Cardstock; Champagne Glitter Paper
  • Miscellaneous: Beacon Adhesives Glue, 3D Foam Squares, White Self-Adhesive Pearls, removable/washi tape

Directions:

1. Cut Spellbinders Curved Borders One using scrap paper. Attach die cut to a piece of cardstock sized 4˝ x 5¼˝ at the bottom using removable or washi tape. With a Sponge Dauber, apply Encore Blue ink on exposed areas of the panel.

2. With a Sponge Dauber, add Encore Purple ink throughout the blue ink on the panel. With a Fantastix, use StazOn Cotton White to add “snow” to your night scene. Remove Curved Borders One die cut from your panel.

3. Cut/emboss 5 of the 2013 Holiday Trees (smallest die) from white cardstock.  Sponge Encore Green and Blue ink onto trees with a Sponge Dauber. Cut/emboss the reindeer from Frosty Forms from white cardstock. Sponge Encore Champagne ink onto the body and Encore Bronze onto the feet and antlers with a sponge dauber.

4. With the Fantastix and StazOn White Opaque on the tip, add “snow” to the trees and the reindeer feet. Stamp sentiment in lower right corner of panel with Encore Purple ink.

5. To create the frame, Cut a white panel, sized 4¼˝ x5 ½˝. Center A2 Matting Basics onto panel and cut/emboss. Add 3D Foam Squares to back.

6. Adhere Frame to sentiment panel, then glue to a glitter paper panel, then to a card sized 5¼˝ x 6½˝ inches.

7. Add reindeer and trees to your scene.
