You Made My Day

Do you want to enhance only a portion of your stamped image? Do you want to emboss only a few parts of your stamped image? You can get these both with the VersaMarker. It is the best pen to get a darker tone of your ink or to obtain a partial heat embossing.
Stamp your image as you regularly would. To create this card I used a double step stamp set of flowers and three different colors of Memento Ink: Lilac Posies, Lulu Lavender and Grape Jelly. For the leaves I used Kaleidacolor Fresh Greens.
As a tip I recommend you to stamp the solid image with the lightest color and the details with the darkest color. If you use clear stamps you can see through it but if you are using rubber stamps, like I did, you can use a stamp-a-majic to align and stamp your images in perfect place.
If you only want to enhance part of the color of one or several stamped images, take the VersaMarker and paint with the parts that you want darker. On the photo above both flowers were stamped using the same colors of ink, but in flower #1 I went over parts of it with a VersaMarker to create an even deeper tone.
Another option is to use the VersaMarker to emboss details of your images where you use it. Since I used Memento Dye ink, all I had to do was brush over the parts of my flower I wanted to make shiny, apply clear embossing powder which is only going to stick to my VersaMarked section and melt with a heat tool.
