Directions:
1. Begin by stenciling the background using favorite ink colors. Colors used here include StazOn Claret, Radiant Neon Electric Blue and Memento Luxe Nautical Blue. Later, Radiant Neon Electric Orange is added for additional depth.
2. Ink die cut letters using favorite colors. Tangelo Memento was used, then double inked with Teal Blue StazOn using a Sponge Dauber.
3. Seal letters with Goosebumps Shimmer.
4. Add additional color with StazOn Midi Claret.
5. Spritz background with irRESISTible Texture Spray in Lady Bug and Bahama Blue. Repeat spritzing with background turned upside down to get the best coverage.
6. Accent background with assorted stamps. The stars were stamped with StazOn Claret, the dots with StazOnTeal Blue, and the tickets with StazOn Ganache.
7. Adhere letters to background and accent with white paint.
What an “uncommonly” fun project! It would make a fine addition to an art studio. Love the shimmer of the Goosebumps you used! Very pretty.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Roni!
Uncommonly GORGEOUS!!! Love it! 🙂
Thanks so much Linsey. Lots of fun to make.
Yes, it looks like it was and it’s also just what I’ve been needing…I just went over your steps with a fine tooth comb and took notes. I hope you don’t mind if I use this spectacular piece as my inspiration for an upcoming project on May 13th. I will credit you as the original artist who inspired me, as you do so often 🙂 It will be different of course, but I’m inspired by the color scheme and mix of interesting patterns and texture. I’m doing something sort of Americana/patriotic. Thanks so much!
Great grungy project, love how those letters pop and shine
I love how these letters turned out. Very nice! The multiple ink layers add so much dimension.
Awesome base for inspired creating! THANKS
