Envelope with GooseBumps and Embellishments

With Mother’s Day and Graduation coming soon, here’s a creation both beautifully unique and practical for any occasion. Using Goosebumps Matte Texture Spray, and an interesting embellishment closure, this envelope is perfect for gift cards, money or a handmade card.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Time Required: 45 minutes + drying time

Step 1

Cut a piece of butcher’s paper cut to 4 ½” x 6

Step 2

Take a stencil and cover the paper completely. Spray with GooseBumps Matte Texture Spray over stencil. Remove stencil immediately and with care.

Step 3

Create fold lines at middle and at top for flap.

Step 4

Take needle and thread and make numerous loops for closure. Use wire rod and coin width for sizing of loops.

Step 5

With a sewing machine, sew sides and bottom of envelope with a decorative stitch and metallic thread.

Step 6

Adhere Dynasty Coin to flap and cut hole for loop. Place a wire rod through loop creating the finished closure for envelope.
