Galaxy backgrounds are very popular nowadays and it’s no wonder because it is very beautiful and also fun to create. Today, I will be sharing a super quick and easy way to create it using Goosebumps spray and Fireworks Sprays in Rosebud, Danube Blue & Sweet Plum. See how I created this card with the sentiment that reads, “I love you more than the stars” which is a wonderful message to share with someone you love.
Welcome back for another Artist Project Swap with Jennifer and Kyriakos. For the Month of May, we challenged our artists to exchange tutorials and create each other’s designs in order to see how each of our artists interprets style and choices. The receiving artist did not know who designed the project, nor did they receive any images! In today’s post, Kyriakos writes the directions and recommended supplies list and Jennifer created the project.
This month, we Artists swapped projects and I got to make this awesome necklace and earring set with SHEET Metal ovals and StazOn ink from directions by Kyriakos. This necklace and earrings set were so fun and easy to make and I’m sure it’ll be just as fun to wear.
Welcome to another set for our Artist Project Swap with Kassy and Melissa. The receiving artist did not know who designed the project, nor did they receive any images! In today’s post, Kassy gives the directions and recommended supplies list and Melissa created the project.
Today, I create a fun card using a number of techniques that were designed and instructed by design team member Kassy Tousignant. This was a challenge created by Imagine to help show customers how diverse Imagine and Tsukineko products really are. If you don’t have something a designer uses, you can improvise!

This papercrafting swap project was so FUN! I wasn’t sure how it was going to go in the beginning. After seeing my project interpreted by someone else, I couldn’t wait to create the project given to me. It is exciting to see how different people interpret and work with similar materials to create different craft projects. You can really see each person’s personality come out in their artwork. It just goes to show you that you don’t have to have all the same craft supplies to make something equally beautiful. Just use what you have! I would really love to do this again.
Memento and Brilliance inks are perfect for achieving watercolor effects. The inks stay vibrant and layer beautifully. It’s fun to play on watercolor paper and then cut out shapes with dies to accentuate your favorite parts of the background.
What do you think of Kassy’s interpretation of Melissa’s tutorial?

Wisteria is one of my favorite flowers but its season is all too brief. This year I’ve preserved a cluster in my art journal on a rich bed of pigment made up of layers of Fireworks Sprays and Creative Medium, taking my color inspiration from the blooms themselves. Creative Medium both protects the layers I’ve built up and gives a perfect surface to build upon—it’s invaluable!

I absolutely loved swapping projects with Roni Johnson! This project was not something I would have ever thought of making on my own but I really enjoyed making it. I didn’t have all the exact same products that she used but was able to improvise with no problem. Besides, I prefer not to copy something exactly and put my own twist on it.
I made a video showing how I created my project. Watch it below!
