See How to Make a Colorful Card with a Cut-Out Background

I am really in love with the cut-out and embossing technique used to make the background of this colorful and high contrast card. It was fun to use the negative of the flower shape to create this greeting card background and have the bright green, magenta and purple colors show through a black, shiny frame. The stylish Waffle Flower stamps are a perfect compliment with the fun Memento ink colors! I hope this card inspires some creative card making ideas.

Handmade card featuring Waffle Flowers Let Love Grow stamps and Tsukneko's Memento inks.

The super adorable Waffle Flower stamps are perfect for coloring in with Memento ink! I love that I can create a simple, fun card with minimal supplies and have something adorable to give away. I used a little bit of Memento in Grape Jelly in both of my images and then found a matching piece of amethyst glitter cardstock to pull the whole thing together!

This mixed media paper doll panel was so fun to make. I used Rinea foil, Creative Medium, foam tape and Tsukineko inks in this crafting project. Rinea foiled paper works beautifully with 3D embossing folders and makes a great foundation for the girls stamped in VersaFine Clair inks. Enjoy!

Learn How to Make a Watercolor Thinking of You Card with Pigment Ink

When creative inspiration hits me, I am usually creating layers of mixed media designs on frames or cards. But today, I decided to go a different route. Here is my attempt at a clean and simple Thinking of You card. I love using a mix of Tsukineko inks to create a watercolor effect. They are pigment-rich and blend like a dream. See how I made this card!
