Here is another upcycled project from me! I really love giving old, tired objects new life. I can always count on my All-Purpose Ink to help freshen things up!

• All-Purpose Ink – Sky Mist, Blue Bayou, Lemon Yellow
• Creative Medium – Clear
• Gesso – White
• Glass Vase
• Paintbrush
• Resin flowers
• Prima ephemera
• Paper napkin

Create a 3D piece of Mixed Media Art with a metal flower and a variety of inks. To add a nice 3D effect to your project, just use metal! Metal is a great way to add dimension and can even be colored to match with StazOn Pigment ink. The results can really be spectacular!

Time: 30 minutes
Add color to a metal flower with StazOn Pigment Inkpad.
On an art panel, create a watercolor background with Memento DewDrops.
Spray panel with Sheer Shimmer Spray in Sparkle.
Stamp script stamp onto the panel with StazOn Pigment.
Apply Memento ink in Teal Zeal and Pistachio onto the Craft Mat, add water, then use to stamp dots onto the panel.
Stamp stem image with StazOn Pigment in Piano Black.
Add water to a smear of Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and splatter onto the background with a brush.
Stamp saying with VersaFine CLAIR in Nocturne.
Adhere metal flower onto the panel at top of the stem.
Tie ribbon around the bottom portion of the panel.

I’ve been wanting to try this technique and I know that now is the perfect time to do this with the new StazOn Pigment inkpads! Today, I show you a simple technique using your Memento DewDrops. You don’t need stamps when you have fabulous inks! I choose colors of Memento that work well together for an interesting background.

I used several different colors of the new Mboss Embossing Powder on some my layout along with some blue Fireworks! Sprays to create a beautiful by the sea mixed media scrapbook layout.

Select ready to make a cover or create a cover of your own (size 5 ½” x 7 ½”)
Apply a trio of Fireworks! Sprays to add color, allow to dry. As you can see the color of the waterbased inks brings out the chevron design that was preprinted.
Use the same Fireworks! colors on a ½” sheet of white card stock, allow drying.
Stamp swirls and script randomly onto the card stock panel with StazOn Pigment ink.
Add some shine to sections of the card stock panel with Delicata ink and a large Sponge Dauber.
Use diecuts to cut out floral images from the card stock panel.
Add additional color to the flower heads with Shimmer Stix in Rose Gold.
Apply shading to the flower by using a Fantastix tool with StazOn Pigment ink.
Stamp a floral pattern and script onto journal cover with StazOn Pigment ink.
Directly apply VersaMark ink to cover, sprinkle with MBoss powder(s) and heat set for added texture.
Adhere to a layer of tulle.
Highlight floral cutouts with white ink.
Assemble floral die cuts, adhere sequence, and apply StazOn ink directly to edges of cover for shading.
Assemble Journal and embellish with fibers.
Complete first daily journal entry.
